Job summary

The Citation Group is seeking an AI Architect to lead the AI/Data architecture within its delivery space, reporting to the Chief AI Officer. This senior role requires driving architectural decisions, patterns, and governance for production AI systems across multiple domains.

You will own framework-based model selection, data readiness, and cost accountability, ensuring secure, scalable AI solutions that align with Citations five-layer platform architecture and risk controls.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in software, data, or platform engineering/architecture with 6+ years.

Responsibilities

• Establish architectural standards and patterns for AI systems across Citation.
• Own the AI-specific design decisions and align with Architecture Review Board.
• Define tokenomics and cost governance for AI initiatives.
• Assess data architecture readiness across Salesforce, Atlas, Snowflake, and integration layers.
• Attend and sign off on AI design elements of partner Statements of Work.
• Define scope and success criteria for AI spikes and proofs of concept.
• Oversee third-party delivery, review proposals and Statements of Work before commitments.
• Set production quality standards, observability, and incident responses for AI systems.
• Involve Security from the start in significant AI initiatives.
