Job summary

Vertu Motors plc is seeking a Group Aftersales Trainer to energise and develop our Aftersales teams across the network. You'll harness your experience as a Service Advisor, Workshop Controller or Service Manager to raise performance in a franchised dealership.

Based at our Darlington Training Centre with UK-wide travel, you will deliver targeted training, coach on-site and work with Aftersales leadership to identify development needs.

• Proven success in motor retail PLC service counter essential.
• Strong understanding of aftersales processes and customer journey.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging aftersales training programmes for Service Advisors and Workshop Controllers.
• Provide on-site dealership coaching to support performance improvement.
• Work with Divisional Aftersales Management to identify training needs and deliver targeted solutions.
• Support new starters and existing colleagues through coaching.
• Stay up to date with industry trends to keep training relevant.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective aftersales training programmes tailored to Vertu Service Advisors and Workshop Controllers
• Provide on-site dealership coaching to support performance improvement and best practice adoption
• Work closely with Divisional Aftersales Management teams to identify training needs and deliver targeted solutions
• Support new starters and existing colleagues through structured coaching and follow-up development
• Stay up to date with industry trends, systems and processes to ensure training remains relevant and effective

Logistics

Based at our Darlington Training Centre, this role will also involve occasional travel to other training centres across the UK. Business-related travel outside of your normal commute to Darlington, including any required overnight accommodation, will be fully expensed.
