Are you an experienced Senior Service Advisor or Assistant Service Manager ready to take the next step in your career?
We're looking for an ambitious, hands-on Aftersales Manager to join a growing automotive business in the Thames Ditton area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who knows the Service department inside out, enjoys being involved in the day-to-day running of a dealership and is ready to make their mark in a management role.
We're not looking for someone who wants to sit behind a desk all day! We need someone who leads from the front, gets stuck in with the team and takes real pride in delivering excellent customer service.
You'll be joining an established Aftersales department with a team currently consisting of a Service Advisor, Parts Advisor and three Technicians.
There are exciting plans to grow the department, recruit additional Technicians and increase workshop capacity to take on more business.
You'll have the opportunity to play a key part in that growth, building a strong, motivated team and helping shape the future of the department.
This could be the ideal next move for a Senior Service Advisor, Assistant Service Manager or experienced Service Manager of a smaller site who's hungry to progress and prove what they can do.
Taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Aftersales department.
Leading from the front and supporting the Service, Parts and Workshop teams.
Ensuring customers receive an excellent level of service throughout their experience.
Managing workshop productivity, efficiency and departmental performance.
Working closely with the team to resolve customer queries and keep everything running smoothly.
Helping recruit, develop and motivate the team as the department grows.
Identifying opportunities to increase business, improve processes and drive profitability.
Getting involved wherever needed – this is very much a hands-on management position!
Ideally 10+ years' experience within an automotive Aftersales department, predominantly within Service.
A good working knowledge of Parts and Workshop operations.
Previous experience as a Senior Service Advisor, Assistant Service Manager, Service Manager or similar.
Someone confident dealing with customers and leading by example.
A proactive, organised individual who isn't afraid to roll their sleeves up.
Strong communication and people-management skills.
A genuine desire to progress, develop a team and make a difference.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone with the right attitude, drive and enthusiasm to take ownership of the department and help it reach its full potential.
