Pembrook Resourcing LTD is recruiting an Aftersales Manager for a franchised automotive retailer in Kelso. You will lead the Service and Parts operation, driving performance and customer satisfaction while maintaining strong commercial results.

The role offers £48,000 base with £64,000 OTE, a company car, 33 days’ annual leave, healthcare, pension and ongoing training, working Monday–Friday 08:00–17:30.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience within automotive aftersales or service.
• Strong track record of leading people and managing departmental performance.
• Good commercial understanding, including budgets, costs and profitability.
• Experience managing customer-service standards within an aftersales environment.
• Ability to coach, develop and performance-manage a team.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience in franchised dealership environment with sizeable aftersales operation.

A senior aftersales opportunity for an experienced manager who wants responsibility for both Service and Parts, with a Monday-to-Friday working pattern and a package offering £64,000 OTE.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Pembrook Resourcing is recruiting an Aftersales Manager for an established franchised automotive retailer in Kelso.

You’ll take responsibility for the performance of the Service and Parts operation, leading the team, maintaining strong customer standards and ensuring the department delivers against its commercial objectives.

The package includes:

• £48,000 basic salary, with some flexibility depending on experience

THE ROLE

You’ll have overall responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and performance of the aftersales operation, including:

• Leading the Service and Parts teams against agreed commercial and operational targets
• Managing departmental performance, costs, budgets and profitability
• Maintaining strong levels of customer satisfaction and retention
• Making effective use of people, resources and departmental capacity
• Coaching and managing the team to maintain performance standards
• Ensuring processes, administration and customer information are managed accurately
• Identifying opportunities to improve performance and move the department forward
• Working closely with the wider dealership management team

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You’ll need:

• Proven management experience within automotive aftersales or service
• A strong track record of leading people and managing departmental performance
• Good commercial understanding, including budgets, costs and profitability
• Experience managing customer-service standards within an aftersales environment
• The ability to coach, develop and performance-manage a team
• A full UK driving licence
• Experience within a franchised dealership environment would be useful, particularly where you’ve had responsibility across a sizeable aftersales operation.
