Pybus Recruitment Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a well-established franchised car dealership in Hartlepool for an experienced Service Manager.

As Service Manager you will run the aftersales department, lead a team of 7 Technicians and 3 Service Advisors, and drive customer satisfaction, efficiency and profitability.

Basic salary up to £50,000 with OTE £60,000+; full-time permanent contract. This role offers career progression within a successful dealer group and a supportive working environment.

Qualificações

• Experience as Service Manager, Aftersales Manager, or Senior Service Manager in a franchised dealership.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven automotive leader looking to take ownership of a busy aftersales department, leading a team of 7 Technicians and 3 Service Advisors while delivering exceptional customer satisfaction, operational performance, and profitability.

The Role

As Service Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the service department, ensuring outstanding service delivery, efficient workshop utilisation, and strong financial performance.

You will lead, motivate, and develop your team to achieve departmental targets while maintaining the highest standards of customer care and manufacturer compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of 7 Technicians and 3 Service Advisors

About You

We're looking for an experienced automotive professional who can demonstrate strong leadership skills and a proven track record within an aftersales environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Service Manager, Aftersales Manager, or Senior Service Manager within a franchised dealership


• Strong leadership and people management skills


• Commercially focused with a track record of delivering results


• Excellent customer service and communication skills


• Experience managing workshop productivity and service KPIs


• Ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams


• Full UK driving licence
