Job summary

Confidential in Poole is seeking an Aftersales Coordinator to be the go-to technical and commercial expert for replacement pumps and spare parts worldwide. You’ll build quotes, spot opportunities, and support customers across the globe.

In this hybrid role you’ll enjoy flexitime, a Friday from home half-day, 8% pension, private healthcare and 25 days plus bank holidays while developing specialist product knowledge within a global engineering business.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in an administration/sales environment, ideally technical or B2B, with a service-minded approach.
• An engineering-focused education: Degree, HNC or HND.
• Confidence negotiating price, delivery times and commercial terms.
• Experience using SAP, Jeeves or Intelliquip would be an advantage, alongside strong Microsoft Office skills.
• A proactive, accurate approach with a genuine hunter mentality.

Responsibilities

• Preparing commercial and technical quotations for replacement pumps and spare parts for agents and direct customers.
• Negotiating scope, pricing, discounts, payment terms and Incoterms independently.
• Following up quotations proactively to increase the hit rate, spotting opportunities to add parts and field service.
• Providing front line technical support to customers, agents and suppliers.
• Reviewing contracts and orders against quotations, making sure the supply chain is clear on certification, packaging and non-standard terms.
• Processing quotes and orders in SAP and Jeeves, and supplying pricing and market data for monthly reporting.
