DSV in Thrapston is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to guide a busy operations team, drive performance against KPIs, and ensure safe, efficient stock handling in a fast-paced environment. You will train operatives, manage inventory records, liaise with customers and transport partners, and produce capacity plans.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a warehouse leadership role.
• Strong people management skills with the ability to inspire and develop others.
• Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills. Possess a proactive approach, confident in decision making.
• Good IT knowledge, including spreadsheets and warehouse systems.
• A solid understanding of health and safety requirements.
• A forklift licence and knowledge of lean techniques would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Managing and motivating your team to meet KPIs and deadlines.
• Training new operatives and supporting ongoing development.
• Maintaining accurate inventory and stock movement records.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and fostering a culture of safe working
• Producing reports, assisting with stock takes, and planning future capacity needs.
• Acting as a key point of contact for customers, suppliers, and transport partners, ensuring excellent communication and service delivery.
