Job summary

Thorn Baker Recruitment is recruiting a Warehouse Team Lead for a client in the Lutterworth area of Leicestershire. The role leads day-to-day warehouse operations, ensures accurate receiving, storage and dispatch, and supports the DC Manager and colleagues to meet targets.

You will oversee workload allocation, maintain stock accuracy, and drive safe, efficient processes in a fast-paced distribution environment. Competitive salary and benefits on offer.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a warehouse or distribution team.
• Strong communication and coaching abilities.
• Knowledge of warehouse processes and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily warehouse activities to meet operational priorities.
• Allocate workloads and monitor progress across shifts.
• Oversee safe receipt, storage, movement and preparation of stock.
• Maintain stock accuracy and FIFO rotation.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and resolve issues.
• Promote health and safety culture and ensure compliance.
• Provide day-to-day guidance and coaching to colleagues.
• Assist with induction and training of new staff.
