Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Worksop is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a busy warehouse operation. You will drive performance, coordinate daily activities, and ensure safety standards while meeting service targets for customers.

The role requires prior supervisory experience in a warehouse or logistics setting, proficiency with WMS and MS Office, and strong communication skills to engage with all levels. A competitive benefits package is offered including a discretionary bonus and pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Previous experience leading or supervising teams within a warehouse, logistics or supply chain environment is essential.
• Proficient in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage, motivate and build effective working relationships at all levels.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and perform effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Experience working within an automated FMCG warehousing operation would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and lead a warehouse team to achieve operational excellence, service targets and customer expectations.
• Coordinate daily warehouse activities, ensuring effective task allocation, resource management and productivity performance.
• Communicate KPIs, SLAs and operational priorities through regular team briefs and engagement sessions.
• Champion a strong safety culture by maintaining Health & Safety standards and compliance across the operation.
• Support colleague development, continuous improvement projects and employee relations activities to build a high-performing team.
