Job summary

Education Authority seeks a part-time Cleaning Supervisor for Lisnasharragh Primary School. 12.5 hours/week, Mon-Fri 2:30pm-5:00pm, NJC scale 11-14 (£14.99-£15.74 per hour). You will supervise cleaning staff, ensure EA standards, and deliver training and supervision within the school premises.

The role requires a proactive supervisor comfortable with health and safety guidelines, stock control, and reporting to the area coordinator. Enhanced DBS disclosure will be required.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience cleaning outside the home environment required.
• Ability to use own initiative and work under pressure; meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English.
• Good organisation and planning; ability to work as a team.
• Flexible approach and ability to give instruction.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and control the work of cleaning staff.
• Carry out induction and refresher training.
• Liaise with building manager on day-to-day issues.
• Investigate complaints and take corrective action.
• Ensure supplies of materials and equipment within budget.
