Job summary

Education Authority in Belfast is seeking a part-time School Cleaner to join a dedicated team. The role entails cleaning floors, toilets, corridors and common areas within Holy Rosary Primary School, with a 10-hour weekly pattern (Mon–Fri 3:00pm–5:00pm).

You will work under supervision, follow COSHH and Health & Safety regulations, and contribute to a clean, safe learning environment for pupils and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience of school cleaning and hygiene practices is desirable.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to cleaning duties.
• COSHH awareness and ability to follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and buff floors and clean toilets and wash areas.
• Clean walls, ledges and fixtures; empty litter and maintain tidy premises.
• Adhere to Health and Safety policies and complete required paperwork.
