Job summary

Junior Adventures Group (JAG) is seeking a Childcare Setting Manager in Biggleswade to lead breakfast, after-school and holiday clubs for 4–11-year-olds. You will manage a small team, partner with schools and families, and deliver a mix of sports, arts, games, and structured play every day.

The position is split shift (mornings and afternoons) with potential for increased hours during holidays. A great step into management with training and progression opportunities is offered.

Qualifications

• Managerial experience in childcare settings.
• Experience working with children aged 4–11.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Excellent communication with parents, staff, and partner schools.

Responsibilities

• Greet children and start sessions with energy and activities.
• Lead after-school activities: arts, crafts, team challenges and structured play.
• Plan age-appropriate, inclusive sessions that are engaging and fun.
• Manage and motivate the team to deliver high-quality care and play experiences.
• Communicate confidently with parents, schools, and central operations.
• Ensure health & safety, safeguarding, and company procedures are followed.
