Job summary

Junior Adventures Group (JAG) are seeking a Childcare Setting Manager at Biggleswade Academy to lead our Breakfast & After School Clubs for children aged 4–11. The role is 35 hours per week, permanent, 52 weeks, with a split shift pattern of mornings and afternoons.

You will lead a small team, build strong relationships with schools and families, plan engaging sessions, and ensure health, safety and safeguarding procedures. The salary is £29,120 per annum.

Qualifications

• Must have managerial and childcare experience.
• Ability to lead a team of staff delivering play-based activities.
• Strong communication with parents, schools and central operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Breakfast & After School Clubs and Holiday Clubs.
• Plan engaging sessions for 4–11s, age-appropriate and inclusive.
• Manage and motivate your team to deliver quality care.
• Communicate with parents, host schools and central operations.
• Ensure health & safety, safeguarding and company procedures.
