Job summary

Junior Adventures Group (JAG) is seeking a dedicated Childcare Setting Manager to run our Breakfast & After School Clubs at Campton Academy, Shefford, for children aged 4–11. You’ll lead a small team, build strong school and family relationships, and deliver engaging sessions that mix sports, arts, and structured play every day.

The role is split-shift, mornings and afternoons with a break, and opportunities to increase hours during Holiday Club seasons, offering a clear path into management and

• Experience leading childcare activities and teams.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with parents.
• Organised planner capable of managing schedules.
• Passion for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Greet children each morning and afternoon with energy and games.
• Lead after-school activities like arts, crafts, and sports.
• Plan sessions that are age-appropriate and fun.
• Manage and motivate a small team to deliver quality care.
• Communicate confidently with parents, host schools, and central operations.
• Ensure health, safeguarding and company procedures are followed.
