Job summary

Thompson Aero Seating in Banbridge, United Kingdom seeks an experienced Programme Manager to lead TAS engagement with actuation suppliers on TAS contracts for major airlines. You will act as the primary contact, driving consistent ways of working and communications to deliver high‑quality products on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or Business or related field.
• 5 years’ experience in project/programme management.
• Experience in manufacturing/aerospace environments.
• Basic understanding of MRP and MPS.
• Proficient in MS Office and presentation skills.
• Fluent in French and German for professional conversations with suppliers/customers.
• Knowledge of aircraft seat actuation systems and related software development.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with actuation suppliers and TAS stakeholders.
• Enable timely communication to facilitate decision making.
• Build and maintain cross-functional relationships within TAS and suppliers.
• Ensure customer and OEM needs are met by baselining requirements.
• Implement effective conflict resolution while managing priorities.
• React to emergent issues and risks with escalation when needed.
• Work to internal KPIs and strategic goals.
• Be willing to travel to supplier facilities for in-person meetings.
