Job summary

Safran is seeking a Project Manager in the Wolverhampton area to lead aerospace actuation system programmes across the full product lifecycle. You will coordinate Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality teams to ensure customer commitments are met while maintaining cost, schedule and risk controls.

The role emphasizes strong stakeholder communication, regulatory compliance, and delivering reliable, high-quality aerospace solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading aerospace/defence projects.
• Strong ability to drive cost, schedule and risk management.
• Proven track record leading cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of aerospace standards and regulatory frameworks (AS9100).

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional programme teams across Engineering, Industrialisation, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality.
• Manage scope, schedule, cost, risk and resources to meet milestones.
• Interface with customers and stakeholders, providing regular progress updates.
• Identify, assess, mitigate risks and issues with corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace regulatory requirements and governance throughout.
