Job summary

bfpeople is seeking a qualified mechanical engineer to manage delivery of a major aerospace contract for an international OEM from East Midlands. You will own cost, quality, and delivery KPIs and keep the customer satisfied.

The role combines program management, sales and bids responsibilities, including growing the account, building relationships, pricing, cost models and quotations for new opportunities with international customers.

Qualifications

• Requires mechanical engineering qualification.
• Must have experience delivering substantial projects/programmes.
• Commercial exposure including pricing, quotations, tenders or proposals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the programme for the major aerospace contract with the OEM.
• Grow the account by identifying new opportunities and building relationships with international customers.
• Support pricing, cost models and quotations for new opportunities as they land.
