Job summary

Thompson Aero Seating in United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Supplier Quality leader to direct the TAS Supplier Quality organisation and drive improvements in delivered product quality from the supplier base. You will deploy and lead supplier quality management processes aligned with BU level QMS and assist in supplier approvals.

Responsibilities include qualifying suppliers, conducting audits, improving scorecards, collaborating with procurement on changes, and ensuring conformance to PPAP,

Qualifications

• AS9100 and/or ISO9001 requirements understanding.
• Ability to understand, interpret and communicate customer requirements and ensure suppliers deliver Right First-Time product.
• Experience of working within a fast-paced environment, ideally manufacturing.
• Experience working with customers, regulators and suppliers.
• Proficient at Excel and able to analyse and interpret data.
• Skills in listening and communicating effectively with diverse individuals, groups; facilitating trust and understanding.
• Strong influencing skills.
• Requirement to travel to supplier globally.

Responsibilities

• Lead and improve Supplier Quality Management aligned with BU QMS.
• Drive supplier qualification, audits, and scorecards.
• Collaborate with procurement on changes and NPI/PPAP.
• Use data to articulate current and potential future quality/performance issues within supply chain.
• Develop supplier partnerships and continuous improvement plans.
• Ensure PPAP/APQP, AS9100 and ISO9001 compliance.
