Job summary

Owen Daniels is seeking an Engineering Team Leader for its Alcester site, a global precision component manufacturer servicing the aerospace sector. The role is permanent with salary dependent on experience.

Working hours are Monday–Thursday 07:30–16:30 and Friday 07:30–12:30. You will support EHS, Quality, Cost and Delivery objectives, participate in floor walks, and contribute to daily operations meetings while driving problem-solving and flow improvements within the Engineering/Manufacturing

Qualifications

• Experience working to manufacturing standards.
• 2–5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Support the internal customer by sharing objectives on EHS, Quality, Cost and Delivery and participate in the Operational Control model.
• Walk the floor with Manufacturing Manager and/or Team Leader to monitor operations.
• Attend Daily Operations and Standard Diary meetings and take ownership of problems.
• Contribute to EHS by participating in Job Safety Observations and providing technical/process solutions.
• Understand process constraints and help improve flow within the Engineering/Manufacturing Engineering function.
• Supervise Manufacturing Engineers and Subject Matter Experts day-to-day.
