Job summary
Owen Daniels in Coventry seeks an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead a technical team on NPI projects, lean initiatives and continuous improvement. Qualifications
- Proven experience leading a sizeable technical team in manufacturing.
- Solid background in Manufacturing, Industrial or Process Engineering.
- Experience with NPI and industrialisation in a manufacturing setting.
- Implemented Lean and continuous improvement across operations.
- Track record of cost reduction and productivity gains.
- Aerospace or highly regulated environment experience is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of about 20, promoting ownership and CI.
- Own new product introduction ensuring manufacturability and scalability.
- Identify and deliver cost-saving and efficiency improvements.
- Drive Lean, productivity, waste reduction and OEE improvements.
- Provide technical leadership across machining, tooling and processes.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality and Supply Chain.
