Rolls-Royce Corporation in Derby is hiring a Maintenance Fitter to service test, production and facility equipment. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance and undertake mechanical installations as needed, interfacing with customers and teams across Manufacturing Services.

Applicants should have completed a recognised mechanical apprenticeship with City and Guilds/NVQ3 or equivalent, and be proficient with hydraulic and pneumatic systems while reading engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• Recognised maintenance or mechanical apprenticeship completed.
• Safe working in a modern team environment with problem solving.
• Time-served apprenticeship with City and Guilds or equivalent in mechanical discipline.
• Experience using hydraulic/pneumatic equipment and reading drawings.
• Clear communication, self-motivated, and aware of COSHH.

Responsabilités

• Carry out mechanical maintenance and repair of test, production and facilities equipment.
• Undertake mechanical installation work as required and interface with stakeholders.
• Perform planned and reactive maintenance on build line equipment and test facilities.
• Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems; interpret engineering drawings.
