Rolls-Royce Power Systems in Winsford is seeking a Mechanical/Electrical Fitter to deliver maintenance and repair services across rail, switchboard manufacture and diesel-powered generation systems. You will work in a supportive team with hands-on training and opportunities to broaden your skills across electrical and mechanical disciplines.

The role requires completing a mechanical or electrical apprenticeship (or equivalent) and experience with diesel engines or electrical systems in a service

Competenze

• Have completed a recognised mechanical or electrical apprenticeship (or equivalent experience).
• Bring experience working on diesel engines or electrical systems in a service or MRO environment.
• Be comfortable working independently and as part of a close-knit, goal-focused team.
• Show good communication and documentation skills in a regulated environment.
• Demonstrate a hands-on, proactive approach with strong attention to detail.

Mansioni

• Mechanically assemble switchboards for a major programme.
• Disassemble, inspect, clean, test and reassemble mechanical and electrical assemblies to strict standards.
• Work with diesel power rail power packs.
• Collaborate with team leads to ensure quality, delivery, and cost expectations are met.
• Maintain high standards of safety, documentation, and shop floor efficiency.
