Rolls-Royce in Derby is seeking a Maintenance Fitter to join the Manufacturing Services function. The role covers maintenance and repair of test and production facilities, engines and associated plant with a focus on hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

You will operate within a 3-shift pattern (Mornings/Nights/Afternoons) with a 22% shift allowance and work safely in a team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Recognised maintenance or mechanical apprenticeship completed.
• Experience using hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Up-to-date knowledge of health, safety and environmental procedures (COSHH).
• Able to work safely at height and in a modern team setting.
• Good communication at all levels and a proactive, self-motivated approach.

Responsabilités

• Carry out mechanical maintenance and repair of testing, experimental and production facilities equipment and machine tools.
• Perform planned and reactive maintenance on build line equipment and engine test facilities.
• Work with pumps, motors, gearboxes and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Interface with customers, suppliers and team members to optimise performance.
