Job summary

Safran Seats in Wales is seeking a Configuration Manager to lead the CMS, ensuring traceability and governance of product configurations throughout their lifecycles.

You will drive engineering change control, align with group processes, and partner with Change and Programme teams to embed configuration control across programmes.

Experience in Windchill PLM deployment, CATIA, and CMII Level 6 is highly valued within the aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• CMII Level 6 certification required.
• Strong CMS / configuration management knowledge.
• Experience with PLM systems and DMU environments.
• Aerospace or automotive industry background.

Responsibilities

• Lead CMS and ensure governance across lifecycles.
• Own and optimise engineering change control process.
• Embed configuration management in programme delivery.
• Support Windchill PLM deployment and improvements.
