Cardiff Council is seeking a committed Mentor to join the Advice Training Team within the Adults, Housing and Communities department. The role involves quality checking, developing procedures, and delivering training on Welfare Benefits, Money Advice and Housing.

You will answer complex queries, simplify legislation for staff, and conduct one-to-one and small group sessions, both in person and via Teams, to support customer-facing teams.

Qualificações

• Welfare benefits, money advice and housing knowledge required.
• Experience in providing informal training and advice to staff.
• Ability to simplify legislation and explain complex queries clearly.

Responsabilidades

• Provide quality checks and support staff in the Advice Section.
• Develop and maintain work processes across IT systems.
• Deliver one-to-one and small group training sessions, in person and via Teams.
