The Role

Advertising Strategist

Salary £30-£35,000

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Vision: Define and refine target audiences across multiple global markets by conducting deep-dive analysis of demographics, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Ownership & Growth: Design and own comprehensive, data-driven advertising strategies that meet and exceed our client universities\' enrollment and growth objectives.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Manage and lead multi-channel campaigns, coordinating effectively across different time zones. Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams (designers, copywriters, biddable media specialists) to develop engaging, market-leading campaigns.
  • Client Partnership: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships, providing strategic guidance on content alignment, and proactively identifying account growth opportunities.
  • Insight-Driven Optimisation: Monitor core performance KPIs, produce clear, concise performance reports, and present actionable, insight-led campaign recommendations to drive growth and improvement.
What are we looking for?
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret data and translate it into clear, actionable strategy.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Comfortable presenting confidently to clients (virtually and in person).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and collaborate effectively across multiple teams and time zones.
  • Hands-on experience in building ads on search or social channels.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of digital trends.
  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent.
Desirable
  • Understanding of the university landscape, including courses, programs, and admissions processes.
  • Proficiency in using key marketing tools and platforms (CRM, email marketing software, analytics tools).
