St Andrews Medical Centre in Manchester is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join a busy GP practice. The role is full-time (37.5 hours across 5 days) with autonomy to manage your own clinical workload while supported by a multidisciplinary team.
You will assess and manage patients with acute and minor illness, prescribe where appropriate and contribute to same-day care delivery within a forward-thinking practice offering opportunities to develop your role.

This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours across 5 days, providing consistent ANP cover throughout the working week. You will work as part of a well-established multidisciplinary team, managing patients with acute and minor illness, assessing undifferentiated presentations, prescribing where appropriate and supporting the delivery of high-quality same-day care.

St Andrews Medical Centre is a large, friendly and forward-thinking GP practice in Eccles, caring for around 16,000 patients. We have a well-established multidisciplinary team including GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses, HCAs, pharmacists, GP Assistants, care coordinators and an experienced administration team.

Clinical Practice
The postholder will be expected to exercise a high level of professional autonomy and clinical judgement while recognising the limits of their own competence and seeking advice or onward referral when appropriate.
They will manage their own clinical workload while working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team with access to GP advice when required.
Patient safety, effective communication and high-quality personalised care will be central to the role.
