A healthcare service provider in the UK seeks a detail-driven Adult & Paediatric Administrator / Crisis Worker. This role involves managing patient records, coordinating appointments, and providing vital support to patients during sensitive moments. Candidates should have a GCSE in English and Maths, at least 12 months in an administrative role, and knowledge of the health or public sector. Flexible working arrangements are possible, ensuring a supportive environment for both patients and staff.
We are looking for a detail-driven, organised and compassionate individual to join our Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) as an Adult & Paediatric Administrator / Crisis Worker. This is primarily an administrative role, keeping our service running smoothly behind the scenes while also providing vital support to patients and families during sensitive moments. You will handle records, coordinate appointments, manage calls and liaise with partner agencies, all while protecting confidentiality and demonstrating empathy. You will also be trained to assist during patient visits, helping them feel informed, reassured and supported.
We offer full training including safeguarding, basic life support and specialist forensic awareness, plus ongoing development opportunities. This is a 24/7 service with on-call responsibilities requiring arrival at the SARC or designated site within agreed timeframes. Flexible working, including part-time and job share will be considered.
8 hours per shift: 1 am–9 am, 9 am–5 pm and 5 pm–1 am.
