Administrator/Receptionist

London Euston Bupa Health Clinic, London NW1 2PL

Permanent, Full-time, 40 hours a week. Monday to Friday, shifts between 07:00-18:00, with occasional Saturdays.

£29,300 per annum plus excellent benefits

At our London Euston Bupa Health Clinic, we offer a range of services including Mammograms, Physio, and Musculoskeletal appointments. Our services are available to everyone, not just those with health insurance.

We are seeking a dedicated individual to handle administrative and reception activities efficiently. This role is crucial in maintaining smooth operations and delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring that every interaction with our customers is positive and memorable.


You’ll help us make health happen by:

Providing outstanding customer service to adults and children, and performing duties such as:

  1. Following departmental policies and procedures
  2. Managing all reception areas, including Main Reception and other patient arrival points
  3. Greeting patients and visitors warmly and courteously, promoting the BUPA Cromwell Hospital brand and our service vision: “Every Patient is a VIP”
  4. Issuing Medical Record Numbers, preparing medical records, and administrative documents
  5. Supporting clinics, tests, or procedures administratively
  6. Handling letters of guarantee, liaising with insurance companies and embassies
  7. Responding to inquiries about hospital facilities or directing them appropriately; managing reception queries and complaints courteously and promptly
  8. Informing staff and patients about charges, payment methods, and coordinating guarantee letters or insurance as needed
  9. Implementing manual procedures during system downtimes and transferring information upon system restoration
  10. Scheduling follow-up appointments and assisting with booking further tests or consultations

Key Skills / Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Word
  • Well-organized, reliable, proactive
  • Knowledge of medical terminology (desirable)
