Job summary
Work as part of the Outpatients Department, providing an efficient administrative and outpatient reception service, including the Early Pregnancy Unit.
Booking diagnostic appointments on Soliton.
Recording all outpatient attendances (cashing-up) on Cerner.
Booking follow-up appointments and discharging patients back to the GP.
Filing documents according to Information Governance policy.
Communicating with patients, visitors, and staff professionally and courteously.
Using all available communication methods effectively.
Maintaining an uncluttered, tidy, hygienic, and sanitary reception area, including cleaning surfaces.
Supporting Managers and Supervisors in developing a patient-focused service.

Education/Qualifications (Essential): NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, GCSE English.
Desirable: First aid, Fire Marshal training.
Knowledge and Experience (Essential): Customer service, administrative work, adaptable to change without supervision.
