  • Process invoices, funding claims, staff expenses and other financial information accurately and on time.
  • Support the Service Manager with financial returns, expenditure information and budget preparation.
  • Liaise with Finance, benefit agencies, suppliers and other organisations as required.
  • Maintain effective filing, diary, holiday and other administrative systems.
  • Respond professionally to telephone enquiries from external agencies, prospective residents and others contacting the service.
  • Provide general administrative support, including correspondence, reports and word processing.
  • Take and distribute minutes and help coordinate staff and service meetings.
  • Support the administration involved when residents join or leave the service, ensuring relevant documentation is completed.
  • Order office, cleaning and first-aid supplies while ensuring value for money.
  • Handle confidential information appropriately and maintain accurate, up-to-date records.
To Succeed in This Role, You'll Need:
  • At least 12 months’ administrative and/or secretarial experience.
  • Experience of maintaining and reviewing office systems and procedures.
  • Experience of completing financial records or returns.
  • Experience of attending meetings and producing accurate minutes.
  • Good IT skills, including confidence using Microsoft Office.
  • Strong keyboard and general administrative skills.
  • Good numeracy skills with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
  • The ability to organise and prioritise your own workload and work effectively under pressure.
  • Good verbal communication skills and the ability to relate to a wide range of people.
  • Reception experience and an understanding of welfare benefits systems would be advantageous.

If you're looking for a varied part-time administration role where your organisation, accuracy and attention to detail can help support an important community service, we'd love to hear from you.

Interviews will be held on a rolling basis as suitable candidates apply, and we reserve the right to close the vacancy early if a successful candidate is appointed.
