Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Manage comprehensive financial records including banking, petty cash, payroll, and ledgers.
  • Provide HR administration and maintain employee records with compliance checks.
  • Deliver robust office management and support to the Home Manager, including minutes.
  • Greet residents and visitors, conduct tours when required.
  • Ensure health and safety protocols and maintain confidentiality.

As an Administrator at Queens Meadow Care Home, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and smooth running of our operations. Your responsibilities will span across vital areas, enabling our team to focus on delivering exceptional care.

  • Managing comprehensive financial records, including banking, petty cash, and supporting sales, purchase ledger, and payroll processes.
  • Providing essential HR administration, maintaining employee records, and overseeing compliance checks for professional registrations and background clearances.
  • Delivering robust office management, from maintaining accurate filing systems and managing stationery to providing administrative support to the Home Manager, including minute-taking and correspondence.
  • Serving as the welcoming first point of contact for residents and visitors, providing professional support and conducting tours of the home as required.
  • Ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols and maintaining strict confidentiality across all aspects of the role.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and a keen aptitude for new systems.
  • Demonstrable experience in data handling, detailed reporting, and managing deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, strong interpersonal skills, and a professional demeanour.
  • Experience in HR administration, payroll, bookkeeping, or a healthcare setting, along with a business administration qualification, would be highly advantageous.
  • Ability to manage financial and operational administrative tasks.
  • A satisfactory enhanced DBS check is essential.
