Job summary

NHS Blood and Transplant in Filton is seeking an Administrative Officer to provide efficient administrative support to the Molecular Diagnostics Department, ensuring timely diagnostic services and high standards for donor and patient procedures.

You will work as an active team member handling duties such as telephone queries, filing, scanning, minute taking and general office tasks, while maintaining strict confidentiality in line with NHSBT policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a comprehensive range of administrative duties as dictated by workload.
• Communicate with the public, NHSBT departments and external contacts as required.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle patient/donor information per policies.
• Receive and make telephone calls; assist with queries for information.
• Maintain manual and electronic filing; photocopying, scanning and minute taking.
