NHS Blood and Transplant is seeking an Administrative Officer to provide efficient administrative support to the Molecular Diagnostics Department, ensuring confidential handling of donor and patient information and timely provision of diagnostic services.

The Molecular Diagnostics department is looking for an Administrative Officer to provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Molecular Diagnostics Department to facilitate the timely provision of diagnostic services ensuring procedures in relation to donors and patients are carried out to the highest possible standard.
You will work as an active team member assisting with a comprehensive range of administrative duties/procedures as dictated by the workload of the Department.
You will be required to communicate with the general public, other NHSBT departments and external contacts as required, whilst maintaining strict confidentiality at all times and ensuring that information relating to patients and donors is kept in a manner in accordance with NHSBT policies & procedures.
We can offer both full-time and part-time hours between Monday to Saturday, 07:00-18:00. Saturday working is preferred, and the successful candidate may be required to provide occasional Saturday cover depending on service needs etc. with reasonable notice (exact working hours to be discussed with the successful candidates).
