Seminar Manager at Legal Services Agency

Salary: £23,150 p.a., SP 18 plus pension contribution and salary sacrifice schemes.

Annual leave: We offer 25 days annual leave (based on a 5-day working week), 12 days public holiday entitlements, plus 2 discretionary days paid leave days (during December), a day off for your birthday and 1 discretionary bonus day on the employee’s 5 year work anniversary.

Flexibility and wellbeing: We operate a hybrid working policy and will consider flexible working requests.

From 1st October 2024 we will be trialling a 4-day working week reducing the working hours from 35 to 32 per week with no salary reduction.

Contract: 35 hours per week

Location: Greenock

Legal Services Agency (LSA) are seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to join their professional and friendly Admin team.

LSA is one of Scotland’s largest Law Centres. Through its solicitors and other staff, operating as Brown & Co. Legal LLP, LSA has a 30-year legacy of serving individuals, families and communities across Scotland, addressing unmet legal need and the effects of poverty, disadvantage and discrimination.

We provide high-quality legal advice, assistance and representation in areas of housing law, preventing homelessness, mental health, discrimination, welfare benefits and social security, community care, criminal injuries compensation and employment law.

The work is rewarding, and the expertise of the Service is highly regarded and nationally recognised. The post offers scope to develop your skills through LSA’s in-house training seminars.

About you

You will have excellent typing speeds and accuracy and be able to work to tight timescales. You will have experience in providing high-quality telephone and reception client service. You will be able to

deal with a range of clients as the first point of contact for the organisation. You will be a team player and will be flexible in taking on a variety of tasks.
