A busy transport company in Keady is seeking an experienced Administrative Clerk for our team in the Transport Office. The role involves entering invoices accurately, issuing purchase orders, and maintaining inspection records. Ideal candidates will have excellent education standards, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and strong communication skills. Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Catalyst Platinum and TTS system preferred, training will be provided.

  • Enter purchase invoices and credits accurately on Sage Accounts.
  • Issue and receive purchase order numbers to staff and customers.
  • Keep up to date inspection sheets and record all breakdowns.
  • Download and check diesel transactions and complete spreadsheet.
  • Required general office and telephone duties.

Job description

Campbell Bulk Haulage Ltd require an experienced Administrative Clerk to join our team in our busy Transport Office in Keady.

Working Hours: Monday – Friday 9 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. with 1 hour for lunch
Salary: £31,000 + per annum depending on experience

Responsibilities
  • Enter purchase invoices and credits accurately on Sage Accounts and follow up on any discrepancies
  • Issue and receive purchase order numbers to garage staff and customers
  • Keep up to date inspection sheets and record of all breakdowns
  • Download and check diesel transactions and complete spreadsheet
  • General office and telephone duties required
Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent standard of education and qualifications
  • Knowledge of Catalyst Platinum and TTS system preferred but not essential as full training will be given
  • Experience in a parts store setting may be an advantage, but not essential
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and have excellent IT & computer skills
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work individually and as part of a team
