Keppoch Medical Practice in Glasgow is seeking a full-time, permanent Administration Assistant to join a busy, dedicated and friendly team. The post will be for 37 hours per week with a fixed pattern and a pro rata salary starting from £25,634.

This role requires excellent communication and IT skills as well aspreviousexperience in a patient orcustomer facingrole.You must be able to work under pressure, adapt in busy and unpredictablesituations,whilst upholding patient confidentiality at all times.
Previousexperience in a GP or healthcare setting and with GP computer systems (currentlyEMIS andDocman) are desirable. However, full training will be provided to the right candidate.
The role will include dealing with patients at reception and over the telephone, processing prescriptions and mail, booking and cancelling appointments, ‘signposting’ patients to theappropriate service, phoning hospitals, otherservicesand many other administrative duties.
We have four GP Partners and two salaried GPs looking after a growing list size of around 4000 patients in thePossilparkarea of Glasgow. We are a deep end practice and part of thePossilparkand Milton cluster. We are based in modern health centre premises.
You would be joining an experienced team including a strong clinical and admin team, attached pharmacist, embedded financial inclusion worker,community linksworkerand family wellbeing worker. We are also a longstanding accredited GP training practice.
