Percy Hedley School is seeking an Administration Assistant to support the busy school office. You will manage the ordering process and provide comprehensive administrative support to the team, ensuring smooth daily operations and accurate records.
Working Monday to Friday, 9am–4.30pm, term-time only plus two extra days in school holidays, you will assist with reception duties and contribute to an efficient, friendly environment for pupils, families and staff.

The Role
Working closely with the Lead Admin, and staff team, you will provide an excellent administrative service in school. Your primary responsibility will be managing the administration of the school’s ordering process, alongside other varied administration tasks integral to the smooth running of the school. You will also support with some reception duties as the school office is the first point of contact for our outstanding school.
You will be a positive and courteous team player, able to work using your initiative with a flexible but highly organised approach to tasks. With a good general standard of education and strong literacy/numeracy skills, you will hold relevant NVQ/RSA qualifications to level 3 or equivalent and you will have previous finance experience.
This role is full time hours, working Monday - Friday, 9am - 4.30pm, term time only, plus 2 additional days to be worked within school holidays across the year (specific days to be in agreement with Senior School Business Manager).
