Job summary

The Percy Hedley Foundation is recruiting a Lunchtime Assistant to support students at Hedley’s College during lunchtime. The role is part-time, 20 hours per week, 10am to 2pm, term time only (39 weeks), working as part of a team under the college teacher.

Job description

The Percy Hedley Foundation is one of the largest regional charities supporting people with a range of learning and physical needs. We have five sites providing specialist education, adult day services, residential care and independent supported living to our service users. Our sites are based in Forest Hall, Killingworth, Jesmond, Newcastle City Centre and North Shields.

The Role

We are looking to recruit a Lunchtime Assistant to work lunchtimes in our outstanding Hedley’s College. The main role of the Lunchtime Assistant is to work as part of a team as directed by the college teacher to support students during lunchtime periods. The successful candidates will receive extensive support and training.

The role is part time 20 hours, 5 days a week 10am until 2pm. This role is term time only (39 weeks).
