Job summary

The role supports three Maxillofacial Prosthetists, two Specialist Dental Technologists, and one Dental Technologist with a focus on administration and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Answering and directing telephone calls.
• Booking appointments for Maxillofacial Prosthetic Clinics.
• Typing confidential clinic letters.
• Receiving and processing post and deliveries.
• Procuring materials and equipment.
• Processing referrals.
• Safely disposing of chemical waste in accordance with Trust policies.
• Using IT systems to input and maintain data relating to patient medical devices and materials.
• Dealing with general enquiries.
• Casting plaster models from dental impressions under supervision.
• Manufacturing basic splints under supervision.
