Global Sports Jobs Limited is seeking a capable Club Operations Manager to oversee all activities across Fitness, Group Exercise, Racquets, Swim and Families departments. The role includes acting as Duty Manager and ensuring smooth daily operations and an exceptional member experience.

You will recruit, train and empower a team of ambassadors who represent the heart of the business. A passion for service and strong cross‑functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

Experience managing a large operational service delivery facility (e.g. restaurant, attraction, retail unit, sporting or leisure facility).
Experience leading a variety of functions across multiple departments.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience of financial planning and management.
A passion for customer service.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the efficient operation of all activities across the Fitness, Group Exercise, Racquets, Swim and Families Departments within the DL Club.
Act regularly as Duty Manager, taking responsibility for the efficient operation of the entire club.

About the Role

The role leads and manages the efficient operation of all activities across the Fitness, Group Exercise, Racquets, Swim and Families Departments within the DL Club. It regularly acts as Duty Manager, taking responsibility for the efficient operation of the entire club. The postholder leads the recruitment, training and empowerment of the team to ensure they deliver an exceptional experience to members. Team members are ambassadors of the business and the heart of what the club does.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the efficient operation of all activities across the Fitness, Group Exercise, Racquets, Swim and Families Departments within the DL Club.
Act regularly as Duty Manager, taking responsibility for the efficient operation of the entire club.
Lead the recruitment of team members.
Lead the training and empowerment of the team.
Ensure team members bring their A-game to work each day.
Ensure the team delivers an exceptional experience to members.

Required Experience & Qualifications

Experience managing a large operational service delivery facility (e.g. restaurant, attraction, retail unit, sporting or leisure facility).
Experience leading a variety of functions with variable challenges and goals, or across variable departments.
Overall great communication and collaboration skills.
