Job summary

Royal Mail is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join us as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. As a Post Person with Driving, you’ll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels around your local area, sometimes on foot and sometimes in a van.

This role is outdoorsy, active, and community‑minded, with shifts that adapt to business needs. Shifts vary and are paid at competitive rates depending on the shift, with training provided to get

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels in your community, driving a Royal Mail van and delivering items on foot as required.
• Securely deliver all items on your route and handle election materials and certain items (e.g., food or alcohol) per Royal Mail standards.
• Provide exceptional service and uphold safety and accuracy in delivery.
