Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals for flexible Post Person with Driving roles. You will drive a Royal Mail van, deliver letters and parcels, and complete parts of your route on foot while delivering outstanding community service.

Roles are temporary, with shifts that vary by time of day and pay rates per shift. A driving assessment is part of the onboarding process, and the job keeps you active and outdoors daily.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; you must adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as part of a Royal Mail round.
• Drive a Royal Mail delivery van and complete route tasks on foot.
• Ensure items reach destinations safely and handle election materials per standards.
