Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking a flexible Post Person with Driving to join our delivery team. You’ll drive a Royal Mail van, deliver letters and parcels across your route, and support the community with reliable service.

This temporary role offers shift-based pay and requires a full UK manual driving licence (max 6 points), fitness to walk long distances, and the ability to adapt quickly.

Angard staffing will provide the rate card and opportunities to stay active while serving local communities.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to walk 20,000 steps per day, get in and out of a van, and carry a mailbag up to 16 kg.
• Flexible shifts and team player capable of adapting quickly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as the face of Royal Mail.
• Drive your delivery round and complete parts of the route on foot while providing exceptional service.
• Securely deliver all items on your route, including election materials and certain items in line with Royal Mail standards.
• You’ll be required to pass a driving assessment when you start.
