Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking flexible and hardworking individuals to join as a Post Person with Driving in Eastwood Delivery Office. You will deliver letters and parcels across your route, combining driving with walking and providing friendly service to the local community.

You'll hold a full, manual UK driving licence with up to 6 points, be prepared to walk around 20,000 steps a day, and carry mailbags up to 16kg. Shifts vary to fit the business needs.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of the van, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary, so we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your route, using driving and walking as required.
• Drive a Royal Mail delivery van and complete parts of your route on foot.
• Safely deliver all items on your route, including election materials and restricted items when required.
