Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join us as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. You’ll deliver letters and parcels across your local area, combining driving with foot work as part of your daily route, and you’ll represent the service in the community.

A UK driving licence is required, with up to 6 penalty points, and you should be physically fit to walk long distances, lift bags up to 16 kg, and adapt to shift patterns.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to walk long distances and carry mailbags up to 16 kg.
• Willingness to work varying shifts on a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your route by van and on foot.
• Safely handle and deliver election materials and other sensitive items.
• Provide friendly service and maintain Royal Mail standards.
