Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. You’ll deliver letters and parcels across your local area, combining driving a Royal Mail van with periods of walking.

A full, manual UK driving licence with up to 6 points is required, along with the stamina to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry mailbags up to 16 kg. Shifts vary to fit the business needs, offering a meaningful role in the community.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary, so we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your delivery area.
• Drive a Royal Mail delivery van and complete parts of your route on foot.
• Ensure every item reaches its destination safely and securely.
