Job summary

Royal Mail is looking for a Post Person with Driving to deliver letters and parcels across your local area, combining driving with on-foot duties as needed. You will ensure timely, secure delivery and act as the face of the service in your community.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, readiness to pass a driving assessment, and the flexibility to work varying shifts while staying active throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to walk up to 20,000 steps per day and carry up to 16 kg.
• Flexible shifts and adaptable team player.
• Must pass driving assessment on start.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels to your community, driving your route and occasionally walking parts of it.
• Ensure items reach destinations safely and handle election materials and restricted items per Royal Mail standards.
• Be a visible community representative delivering excellent service throughout your neighbourhood.
