Job summary

Royal Mail is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join us as flexible Delivery Drivers at the Aston-Under-Lyne Delivery Office. If you have a passion for community service and love being on the move, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

As a Post Person with Driving, you'll deliver letters and parcels along your route, walk when needed, and stay active throughout the day. A full UK driving licence and the ability to pass a driving assessment are required.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points is required.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, carry a mailbag up to 16kg and get in/out of a van repeatedly.
• Shifts can vary; you must be flexible and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels along your round, being the face of Royal Mail in your community.
• Drive a Royal Mail delivery van and complete parts of your route on foot as needed.
• Ensure items reach their destination safely and handle election materials in line with standards.
