Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals for a Delivery Driver role at the Tetbury Delivery Office. You will deliver letters and parcels across your local area, combining driving with walking as needed to ensure every item reaches its destination safely.

We require a full, manual UK driving licence with up to six points, fitness to walk long distances, and the ability to adapt to varying shifts. On-start driving assessment is required.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; you must be flexible to cover across different times.
• Pass a driving assessment when you start.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels in your local neighbourhood and across the delivery area.
• Drive your delivery round, with parts of the route completed on foot as required.
• Securely deliver all items, including election materials and certain items (e.g., food/alcohol) per Royal Mail standards.
• Be the face of Royal Mail, delivering a reliable service come rain or shine.
